David J. Fuchs, CPA, CSEP graduated cum laude from
the Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelors
degree in accounting and computer science in 1985. David has
over 15 years of auditing experience, primarily planning and
performing audits for entrepreneurial and growth stage clientele
in a variety of industries. David is experienced in income taxation,
financial planning, forensic services, small and medium-sized business
consulting and planning services. David joined Capossela, Cohen, LLC
in 1997 and is the firm's partner in charge of personnel. His
current areas of concentration include federal and state taxation, tax
audits, business acquisitions, negotiations, projections, forecasts,
and related small-business entrepreneurial services. David is pursuing
his certification as a Certified Forensic Accountant and has performed
numerous forensic engagements. Outside his professional career, David
is an avid golfer and dedicated father. He has two daughters and lives
with his wife, Lynne, in Stratford.
David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants,
the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association
of Certified Fraud Examiners. He serves on the board of his country club and
has been on the board of a not-for-profit organization.
David currently serves as the
Managing Partner of Capossela, Cohen, LLC.
