Joseph Barranca, CPA

Joseph Barranca was named a partner of the firm in 2005 after joining the team in 1999. With more than two decades of experience, Joseph’s areas of expertise are financial statement preparation and auditing, income tax planning, and preparation for closely-held entrepreneurial companies and high-net-worth individuals in a variety of industries, including construction, nonprofit organizations, and professional services. Joseph has extensive experience and knowledge in accounting and audit services for health and human services, children’s services, and private schools filing the requisite nonprofit federal and state information returns.

Joseph is a member of the AICPA, Connecticut Society of Public Accountants, the New York Society of Public Accountants, and is a former President of the Bridgeport Area Group chapter of the Connecticut Society of CPAs.

Joseph received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from St. Joseph’s College in New York in 1993 and received his CPA certificate in 1996, licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut.
